What to Expect on Sundays

Our Sunday worship services are at 10:00am each week. When you arrive you will be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team. If it's your first time with us, they can show you around the facilities and answer any questions you may have about the church. Free coffee and light refreshments are available in our cafe before and after each service. If you have young children, we have a nursery, toddlers' church, and children's church. All our volunteers have had background checks and safety clearances to work with children, so you can rest assured your children will be safe. Be sure to visit our Kid's Page for more information. Our music is contemporary and the songs we sing are often from groups like Phil Wickham, Hillsong, Maverick City, and Elevation Worship. One of our pastors will bring a message from God's Word that is designed to be applicable to your life. Our services are approximately 75 minutes long. Feel free to dress in casual clothing. Vic & Linda Brown

ELDER TEAM MEMBERS

Vic and Linda have been married since 1975. They are blessed with three children and nine grandchildren. Attending the University of Pittsburgh, Vic's degrees include a BS (1977) and a DMD (1981). The Browns returned to Potter County to practice
dentistry in 1981. Vic currently works part-time at Blake Dentistry, PC in Coudersport. Vic retired from the US Air Force Reserve (Dental Corp) in 2021.
Linda has faithfully worked as a dental office coordinator along with being the 'go-to' on the home front caring for family. Together they enjoy family activities, hiking, and tending to the Brown Family Farm. Linda enjoys gardening, wood working, knitting and cooking. Vic enjoys hunting and eating Linda's cooking. Vic & Linda have been members of CAC since the early 1990s and have served in
the past as Sunday School teachers, elder, deacon, and deaconess. Currently they
enjoy being part of the sanctuary seasonal decorating committee and elder. They enjoy daily devotions and find serving others, whether family, church, community, country, or abroad offers meaningful perspective in their walk with the Lord.

Todd & Barb Creech

ELDER TEAM MEMBERS

Todd and Barb have been members of CAC for 15 years. They have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. Barb has been a teacher at the Austin Area School for 34 + years. Todd owned and operated Coudersport Carpet Cleaning. He is currently working at Hemphill Wood Products. They have been married for 30 ½ years,
Todd enjoys hunting, hiking in the woods, motorcycling. Barb enjoys reading, crocheting, and working with children. They both enjoy time with the Lord, each other, and their family.
Todd gave his life to the Lord August 19, 1992. Barb dedicated her life to God at the age of 11. She was raised in the church next door to her childhood home.
Todd has serves in the Deacon ministry here at CAC. Barb serves in the Deaconess and Connection & Welcoming Team here at CAC. They serve in the Kids ministry together on Sundays

Lynn & Nancy Grupp

ELDER TEAM MEMBERS

Lynn and Nancy Grupp began attending CAC in 1981. They are lifelong residents of Coudersport, and have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren. They enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, going to Florida in the spring and especially visiting their grandchildren who do not live in the area. The Grupp's have been married for 48 years, and still consider each other their
best friend!! Lynn worked as a machinist for 40 years before retiring in 2015. Nancy worked at a local bank for 30 years before retiring in 2019. They both have taken on second careers in local government positions where they hope to be an influence for Christ in our community. Lynn first began serving as an Elder in the late 80's, and has enjoyed teaching and preaching God's word as he is led. Nancy
currently serves as the CAC treasurer. Altho they have served in many leadership roles over the years , their favorite ministries are helping to lead the Kids Club ministry and mentoring young married couples. The both love Jesus and love being a part of the family here at the CAC.

Scott & Sharron Gustin

Elder Team Members

Scott was born and raised in Shinglehouse,PA. He has been married to his wife Sharron for almost forty years. They had the joy of having three great sons, two of whom are married and have blessed them with five wonderful grandchildren. Scott studied at Elim Bible institute, JCC and Alfred State. He worked many years in the forestry industry. Scott enjoys hunting and fishing and gardening. His highlights are his trips to Alaska for fishing. Sharron studied at Penn State and has worked for 25 years as the Oswayo Valley food service director. She enjoys arts, crafts and music. They both enjoy camping, games and sitting around a campfire with family and friends. They appreciate growing with others at CMA through worship, hearing and studying Gods word. The times of fellowship and service,have been such a blessing.

Scott & Laurie Short

ELDER TEAM MEMBERS

Scott and Laurie are new residents to Potter County and moved to Coudersport from York Pennsylvania. They have been married for twenty-five years and have four adult children and four grandchildren. Scott grew up in a military family and moved extensively as a child. Born in Germany and spending part of his teen years in Asia; he finally moved to Maryland where he met Laurie. Scott retired in 2022 having spent 47 years in graphic arts, working on magazines, newspapers and in consumer packaging. Scott surrendered his life to Jesus in 1971 while on a ship from Hong Kong to Manila Philippines. Laurie grew up in Fork Maryland, attended Perry Hall Senior High School and also earned an AA degree in Arts and Science from Dundalk College. She served as a counselor at the human life Services in York Pennsylvania for 14 years and also as a counselor for 4 years at Alpha Pregnancy Center in Reisterstown, Maryland. Laurie gave her life to Christ in 1973 after a screening of the Billy Graham movie; “A Time To Run”

Carl & Pam Sprouse

ELDER TEAM MEMBERS

Carl and Pam have been married 47 years. They have two daughters and a son who passed away. They have four amazing grandchildren.
Carl and Pam have been members at CAC for more than 45 years.
Carl volunteers and teaches Fly Casting for Veterans and youth.
Pam has served as Head Deaconess for 16 years. Carl and Pam taught Sunday Schoo together for several years as well as volunteering with our Youth Group. They love to share Jesus with others with their dog Blitz.
They feel so blessed to be a part of the CAC church family and love Jesus with all their heart
